The Magnolia is the perfect venue where food enthusiasts can gather, share their love for cooking, and make a difference in the community. A Big THANKS to the owners of The Magnolia for their generous donation to help sponsor this event.

At this event, talented chefs will go head-to-head in a friendly cooking competition. Watch as they demonstrate their culinary skills and creativity, creating mouthwatering dishes.

But it's not just about the food. By attending the TasteBuds Throwdown: Cooking for a Cause, you'll be supporting our mission of increasing access to healthy food through community and family engagement.

You'll have the opportunity to taste their creations and vote for your favorite dish! Bring plenty of cash so you can vote for your favorite chef team with your dollars.

There will be a silent auction.

And LIVE MUSIC! The band: ETHAREOL, (pronounced E-THAIR-E-UL) from Maxwell's House of Music.

Proceeds from this event will go to Let Us Learn, Inc.

What: Hosted by the Community Foundation of Louisville, Give for Good Louisville is the biggest day of online giving in Kentuckiana.

When: Thursday, September 14, 2023, from Midnight - 11:59 p.m. ET

Where: On the DAY OF GIVING, our online giving link is tinyurl.com/GoodGardens.

During this one day giving event, our main goal is to reach OVER 90 individual gifts. Reaching 90 gifts puts us in the top pool for FREE FUNDS from the prize pool and may also earn us a chance at bonuses!

Veggie Rescue

Every Saturday from the end of May through the end of October we glean fresh, local produce from our school gardens, youth garden, market garden, community gardeners, and donations from local farmers and farmers from the farmer’s market. We take these fresh veggies and other produce and set up a farm stand at Crossroads Community Church and give give them away for free!
