Here are the details:
When: Monday, July 27, from 2:30–4:30 PM
2:30 - 4:30 — reading, discussion, and snack
4:00 - 4:30 (or longer if you like) — Farmstand
Where: NAHS Greenhouse, 1020 Vincennes Street, New Albany
We will begin with Xondrais leading us as we gather as a group to read the books together. Afterward, Xondrais will lead a discussion, giving the children and adults an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas.
We’ll then enjoy a hearty snack together. Before you leave, each family will receive a bag of fresh vegetables, eggs, flowers, and bread to take home.
Families will also be invited to spend a little time volunteering together at our Pay-As-You-Can Farmstand. Our hope is to help the children connect what they have read and discussed with the food-access work happening right here in their community.

We’re looking forward to spending the afternoon with you!
